Hello,

We have installed a domain DFS on a W2k3 server.
Some of our users are able to use dfs path for there roaming profiles
and some don't (well they need to be in the Domain admins group)
Our user have the rights to the path because they are able to map a
drive to it (erase, delete and modify everything)
It's only in the logon process, we get an error the it cannot find the
profile on the server and that it will use a local profile instead.
But like I said, if the user is in the group "Domain Admins" no
problem... ???
If I put the normal UNC path in the profile setting (
\\server\share\profil ) instead it works...

any ideas ???

TIA,

François

Check the share-level permissions on the share you have used as your Dfs
Root share.
